With a reasonably short flight from the UK Cyprus is a great destination for family holidays, whether you are experienced travelling as a family unit or you are testing the water for the first time. Driving is so easy here as they also drive on the left, so if you want to see the more authentic side of the island, hire a car and do some day trips through the Troodos Mountains.
