Day 1 - Arrival in Ivalo
On arrival to Ivalo Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Inari.
The area offers stunning views over Lake Inari, which make it the perfect place for viewing the Auroras. It is cleose to the Sami Village allowing you to immerse yourself in their culture.
Day 2 - A private meeting with Santa
Spend the morning meeting a local reindeer herder and his reindeer! At the reindeer farm, you will learn interesting information about the reindeer and the life of a reindeer herder and Sámi culture. You can also try to throw reindeer “lasso” spunky.
In the afternoon, perhaps the highlight of the trip. Each family will be given a special mission, you will board a snowmobile sleigh, which will take you to a secret destination only known to your guide. Once you’ve arrived at this enchanted place, a friendly elf will reveal a sensational secret - Father Christmas is waiting for you! Father Christmas will listen to everyone’s wishes, which he will try to make come true and give also a small present to everyone.
Day 3 - Husky Safari and Northern Lights
Husky safari is a ‘must do’ experience when visiting Lapland. You will be taught how to handle the sled before you head out for the safari, where the huskies will pull your sled through the beautiful winter scenery. Enjoy the excitement of the dogs before the start, and the serene silence once they get to do what they love – run in the snowy scenery.
In the evening head out in search of the Aurora Borealis, by heated sleigh. If the northern lights appear, you will stop and admire the show. You will also have warm drinks to keep warm and comfortable during the activity.
Day 4 - Departure from Ivalo
Depending on the time of your flight enjoy some last snowy activities before heading to the airport for your onward trip.
