Day 1 - Alajuela

After being met at the airport you will head northwest to the town of Alajuela. Also known as the “City of Mangos” for the many mango trees around its Central Park. You can spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2 - North Corcovado Area

Today you will board a domestic flight and head to the North Corcovado Area. Going down to the south Pacific, a bit more off the beaten path than most places in Costa Rica, here you will find incredible biodiversity.

Day 3 & 4 - North Corcovado

You can spend the days relaxing at your leisure or take in one of the many activities in the area. Snorkeling at Caño Island, a Hiking Tour of Corcovado National Park Tour, or spotting the areas wildlife on a Birdwatching Tour.

Day 5 - La Fortuna

This morning you will take a domestic flight and head to La Fortuna. La Fortuna has an elevation of 350 feet above sea level and is best known as the base from which to explore the magnificent Arenal Volcano and National Park. Naturally heated thermal springs originate from its depth, so several places in the area offer the chance to be surrounded by nature while soaking and relaxing on the mineral waters.

Day 6 - Arenal Volcano

Today get ready to explore the area in the Volcano Hike Arenal 1968 Tour. Whether hiking through lava trails, crossing the rainforest or celebrating on the edge of the Arenal Volcano, enjoy a remarkable occasion filled with scenic beauty, accompanied by the breath-taking Lake Arenal. There are two different hiking trails walking on hills formed by lava during the Arenal Volcano 1968 eruption. Find here Los Patos Lagoon, medium difficulty trails through a very original landscape and great panoramic views of Arenal Volcano and Arenal Lake.

Day 7 - Sky Adventures

The tour today will be tailored to the needs of your family. Start with a Sky Walk, in the exuberant rainforest of the Arenal area on one of the suspended bridges. Along the way you can see the areas flora and fauna as well as beautiful waterfalls. Later take the Sky Tram to reach the top of the Arenal reserve, from here you can remain on the tram or take part in zip lining and a Sky Trek, this activity includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together which exceed the treetops providing a panoramic view of the Arenal volcano and lake.

In the afternoon enjoy today a private Rainforest Chocolate Tour, where you will learn more about the cocoa fruit and its whole process.

Day 8 - Corobici River and Canas

Today you will head to Canas, a small town in the province of Guanacaste. On the way you can enjoy stopping to take a break from your journey and absorb the lifestyle of the “sabanero”, the rider working in the savannas, herding livestock or guarding crops. There are also many quaint villages to see.

Stop to have a floating lunch on the Corobici River. The river offers a tranquil floating trip with Class I and II rapids that will satisfy any nature lover and mellow adventurer.

Day 9 - Llanos de Cortés waterfall

Enjoy today one of the most beautiful waterfalls at Llanos de Cortés. Scramble down a short, steep trail to reach the spectacular 12m-high, 15m-wide waterfall, which you’ll hear before you see. The falls drop into a tranquil pond with a white sandy beach that’s perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Go ‘backstage’ and relax on the rocks behind the waterfall curtain, or shower beneath its lukewarm waters.

Day 10 - 14 Nosara Beach

Today you will transfer to the Nosara Beach area on the beautiful North Pacific Coast. Here you will find a little beach town surrounded by mangroves, forests and sandy long stretches of beach. It offers wonderful waves for surfing, a refreshing ocean to go swimming and amazing sunsets and a wide range of other activities like visiting the surrounding villas and farms, absorb some of the local culture and learn salsa dancing or experience soothing yoga sessions immersed in serene, amazing landscapes.

Day 15 - San Jose

Today you will return to San Jose for your international flight home
