For the most unique of experiences a night sleeping like an eskimo in your own igloo gives a fantastic view of the converted Northern Lights.

A whale Watching experience on Faxafloi Bay where Humpback and Minke Whales along with Dolphins and Harbour Porpoises dance in the waters is a great experience if you visit the country later in the year. The local puffins, Arctic terns and Gannets are just a few of the birds that can be seen throughout the country.
